Businesses opening multiple locations

Although business ties between Okoboji, Iowa, and Sioux Falls were established decades ago, the synergy between the communities is intensifying, business owners say.

A few Sioux Falls businesses are venturing out to the Okoboji area, constructing condominiums, a restaurant, and an indoor water park and resort.

Likewise, a handful of Okoboji businesses recently expanded into Sioux Falls at The Bridges at 57th along Western Avenue and 57th Street.
