A White House official will be the keynote presenter at Network 2007, which will be March 28 at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall.
The disability information expo will be presented by the Sioux Falls Business Leadership Network with sponsorship help from HSBC, Sanford Health, Citibank, the city of Sioux Falls, South Dakota Division of Rehabilitation Services and First Premier Bank/Premier Bankcard. |

Larry Gabriel’s last day as South Dakota’s secretary of agriculture will be March 26.
Gabriel, who is retiring after two terms of leading the department, wrote in his regular column, “Calving season will be in full swing March 28, and I plan to be there.”
Gabriel said he plans to return to his real life “as a husband, father, grandfather, West River rancher.”
Gov. Mike Rounds hasn’t appointed a successor yet. |

Wells Fargo & Co.'s chief executive officer paid a visit to Sioux Falls March 12.
Dick Kovacevich, who is based in San Francisco, met with customers, employees and clients in Sioux Falls.
Wells Fargo hopes to continue to grow its student loan business entity, Kovacevich said during a meeting with business reporters.
However, major changes Congress is considering could cause difficulties for Wells Fargo and other banks, he said. Congress is discussing legislation that would require all student loans to be made by the government.
"We hope that doesn't happen," he said. |

Allegiant Air is expanding its nonstop service to Las Vegas from Sioux Falls to five days a week.
The carrier will add a Wednesday flight June 13 through Aug. 15.
Flights depart the Sioux Falls Regional Airport at 11:40 a.m. and arrive in Las Vegas at 12:30 p.m. local time. Flights leave Las Vegas at 6:25 a.m. and arrive in Sioux Falls at 11:05 a.m.
Allegiant started nonstop service between Sioux Falls and Las Vegas in May 2004 and added flights to Orlando, Fla., in fall 2005. |
