Places to be in January
January 25,26 & 1,2 The Pettigrew Home & Museum at Eighth Street and Duluth Avenue hosts the original murder mystery “Dead of Winter” on Jan. 25 and 26 and Feb. 1 and 2. Guests help solve a murder that takes place after a 1920s dinner party thrown by the Pettigrews. Tickets cost $10 in advance at the Old Courthouse Museum store. A limited number of tickets will be available the night of the performance for some show times. Shows begin every half hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Call 367-7097 with questions.
January 26 The Visual Arts Center in the Washington Pavilion hosts Listening to the Future: Native American Storytellers from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It is presented in conjunction with the exhibit “Gerald Cournoyer: The Power of Myth.” Admission is free. Call 367-7397, ext. 2348, for information.
In February
