February 8-10
The 12th annual Sioux Empire Boat & Marine Products Show runs from noon to 9 p.m. Feb. 8, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 9 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Admission is $7 for adults and $2.50 for kids

Participants in the Children’s Care Mall Walk for Kids raise funds for therapy and education equipment and get a chance at trips and shopping sprees. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the cafe court at The Empire Mall. Call 782-8500 or visit www.cchs .org for registration information.

The classic opera “The Barber of Seville” begins at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Washington Pavilion. The humorous performance will include English super-titles. Tickets cost $25, $39 and $49. Call 367-6000. A Performance Insight will be held at 6:15 p.m. Leonardo’s Café will open at 5 p.m. and offer a Valentine’s Day buffet dinner for $11.95. Reservations are recommended.
