Are you revealing more than you want to or sending the wrong message without knowing it?

“To me, people that have trouble sometimes are just unaware of things that they do with their body, and so, therefore, it causes the problems,” said Mel Harrington, counseling services director at Lutheran Social Services.

Harrington said people who are reserved might appear aloof or unfriendly when actually they’re just quiet. And people who are assertive or aggressive might come across as self-confident or pushy when really they’re just nervous.
