The Sioux Falls company employs about 650 people here and manufactures 19,000 affordable custom cabinets a month to be sold nationwide. Jennifer Thom, director of marketing, said the latest trend in cabinetry is using two different finishes in the same room, such as one finish for an island and another for the main cabinets. StarMark is certified by the Environmental Stewardship Program, meaning it has passed environmental guidelines.
