"Deja Dead" • Kathy Reichs
“Deja Dead” is the first book in the Temperance Brennan mystery series by Kathy Reichs. Tempe is the director of forensic anthropology for the province of Quebec. She spends her days in the autopsy suite as well as at crime scenes and exhumation sites. Tempe believes her current case is linked to another recent unsolved murder and must use her forensic skills to prove her theory to the local police, who are reluctant to admit a serial killer is on the loose in Montreal. There are 10 titles in the series; “Bones to Ashes” was published last year. The popular television series “Bones” on Fox was inspired by these books.
