(Inertia/for the SFBJ) The Sioux Falls family business is donating a Chatham ruby pendant to be given away to a guest at the event April 13 at the Center for Active Generations. Gerard Faini estimates the necklace’s value at $1,200. Faini has been part of Gourmet Guys for the past four or five years. “It’s a blast to participate in. It’s enjoyable. They do such a wonderful job at getting everyone involved,” he said. The 2007 Gourmet Guys event raised a record $50,000 for the Center for Active Generations, and Shelley Hanisch, director of development, hopes to match that this year.
