Daisies for Day Break • May 1
May 1 is the deadline to order daisies through the Center for Active Generations. Sales will benefit the center’s Day Break adult day care program, which cares for adults who need supervision and care while their caregivers work or tend to other needs. Bouquets cost $10 each. Orders can be picked up at the center, 2300 W. 46th St., from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 8, just in time for Mother’s Day on May 11 or as a sign of spring for the office. Call 333-3310 to order. Sylvia Henkin is the honorary ambassador for the Daisies for Day Break campaign, and Interim Healthcare is the campaign sponsor.
