Family Connection has hired Amy Pokela as executive director.
Pokela previously was with South Dakota Cares Inc. In addition, the organization’s board has elected the following officers for 2008:
• President: Clara Jacob of Insight Marketing Design.
• Vice president: Linda Pashby, a community volunteer.
• Treasurer: Nathan Peterson of Hildebrand Tewes Consulting.
• Secretary: Kristin Peterson of Management Recruiters.
Other Family Connection board members are: Steve Lee of Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota; Dave Larson of Kreisers; Deana Barth of the Sioux Falls School District; Ross Vandegriend, a juvenile probation officer; Jeff Larson of the public defender’s office; Jason Zanderson of RSM McGladrey; Patty Hollenbeck of The First National Bank in Sioux Falls; and Debra Larson of Citibank. |
