If you’re hosting visitors or just looking for something different, try these excursions you may have forgotten. • Catfish Bay Water Ski Park’s 2008 water show is “Pirates of the Bay.” Shows run through Sept. 1. Times are at 7 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 29, with added shows at 2 p.m. July 4 and Sept. 1. The park is west of Cliff Avenue off Interstate 90. Tickets cost $7-$9. • Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History, 805 S. Kiwanis Ave., sports several new features, including an updated Asian cat exhibit, the return of bison and some new guests – reindeer and Pallas’ cats. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with grounds cleared at 7 p.m. through September. Admission is $3.80-$6.80. It is open 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the rooms cleared at 6 p.m. Cost is $4.50-$6.
