Graduating seniors from the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business collectively scored in the top 5 percent in a national exit exam for business school graduates. That's the highest possible scoring group for the test, produced by the Educational Testing Service. The 2006-07 scores were USD's highest ever. About 450 U.S. colleges and universities administer the exam to their undergraduate business graduates. "We use this test as an assessment of how well we are teaching basic skills across all the specialty areas a graduate needs to know to be immediately effective in an enterprise," said Michael Keller, dean of the business school. "We are extremely proud of achieving such an outstanding grade."
