J&L Harley-Davidson hosts the Humane
Society Poker Run. Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at J&L, 2601 W. 60th St. N., and prizes are awarded at 5:30 p.m. at the Fresh Horse Saloon in Harrisburg. The best hand wins $300. Many downtown entertainment offerings begin in June:
• Fridays through Aug. 31: Horse and carriage rides, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 a person or $20 to reserve the entire carriage.
• Most Fridays and Saturdays through August: Street musicians, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Nightly through Labor Day: Wells Fargo Falls Park Sound and Light Show, approximately 9:30 p.m.
