The 2007 Lawn & Garden Show runs from noon to 9 p.m. March 16, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 17 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 18 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Admission is $4.
March 17
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 2 p.m. downtown. Other holiday events include:
• St. Patty’s Day Bash, all day
beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the El Riad Shrine Center, 510 S. Phillips Ave.
Admission is $10. Features live entertainment, food and beer. Reserved tables are available. Call 336-1117.
• St. Patrick’s Day Family Dance, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m at the Old Courthouse Museum, 200 W. Sixth St. Admission is $5, free to kids 12 and younger with an adult. Features Dakota District Pipes and Drums, Irish dancers, food, beer and pop. Call 367-4210, or visit www. siouxlandmuseums.com.
• St. Patty’s Day Mile, 5K and 5 Mile. The 5-mile run/walk starts at 8 a.m. at Fifth Street and Phillips Avenue. The 5K run/walk starts at 10 a.m. at Fifth and Phillips. The mile run starts at 2 p.m. at 17th Street and Main Avenue. Register at www.stpattysdaymile.com and save $2.
